Hodgson agrees one year contract extension with Fulham

Roy Hodgson has signed a one year contract extension. The Fulham manager, who took charge Dec 2007, has led the club to a great season (2008-09) in the Barclays Premier League as Fulham finished last season 7th.

Hodgson, whose contract expires in the summer, save Fulham from relegation on the last day of the 2007-08 season and to qualification for the Europa League last season. He turned down offers from Sweden and Norway national teams and decide to keep his job at Craven Cottage.

Many consider Hodgson is in pole position to take charge of the Britain team at the 2012 Olympics Games in London.
