The former PSG defender will be back to his old team as manager replacing Paul Le Guen (his contract ends this season) after agreeing on three years contract. Kombouare  guide Valenciennes to 11 place in the French Ligue 1 with one game remain to end the season, he took Valenciennes job since 2005. Currently PSG fifth and expected to play in Europa League next year if they make sure to finish fifth or sixth in the standings of Ligue 1. Kombouare played 5 seasons with PSG (1990-1995) also coached their reserves between 1999-2003 so he is familiar with PSG tense atmosphere which made life so hard on several former coach at the Parisian club.
