Real Madrid hot seat…..anyone interested????

As the presidency election heating at the Santiago Bernabeu, with everybody sure that the Galacticos Maker Florentino Perez the charismatic and successful Real Estate corporate guru will be the next president for the Royal team Real Madrid.

But who will be the coach, manager, Entrenador, or whatever term you would like to use; the Madrid-base press love rumors and they are gifted of predicting or creating sagas. Marca is lining Arsene Wenger the French maestro of ever green policy with Arsenal while AS the other daily sports paper in Madrid puts the Italian Carlo Ancelotti as Perez preferable man to coach a squad full of super stars. Now the Special One Jose Mourinho name pops up to be third candidate for Real Madrid Entrenador post.

Juande Ramos chances to remain Real Madrid manager looks more and more slim, especially after the Clasico Tragedy against Barcelona, even if he did well against Barcelona, the way Real Madrid playing never been attractive and the Madridista keeps comparing their team with Barcelona perfection put his ability to make Real Madrid a winner and loveable performer is under severe doubts.

Also other candidates in the long list of this post two ex-teammates for Zidane who supposedly will have a managerial role with Perez, Didier Deschamps France Captain and Laurn Blanc the man who leading Bordeaux revolution at the French League.

Many Madridista faithful wish to have their Guardiola version at the white club, there are many former Madridista players who are managers or involve in the game these days: Hugo Sanchez, Fernando Hierro, Michel…etc.

Can you remember Schuster days? His tenure with Real Madrid ended badly with his famous declaration that beating Barcelona at the Camp Nou is impossible. The blond German is the latest ex-real Madrid player that tries his luck as Real Madrid coach with two trophies (one La Liga 2007-08 season and the Spanish Super Cup 2008).

Finally the next coach for Real Madrid will depend heavily on the new president and if Perez becomes the president could any top class manager handle his interference in football matters, I don’t think either Mourinho or Wenger will accept that while Ancelotti maybe as we know he worked under Adriano Galiani direct supervision.

For me Wenger arrival to Madrid will surprise me no will shock me, while Mourinho appointment as Real Madrid coach will surprise me, While Ancelotti option is the most reasonable choice for me, Carletto won two Champions League, worked with super stars, and can tolerate the President mood.
