Valverde to Villarreal (Spain/age 45)
Villarreal moved quickly to replace Pellegrini (to Real Madrid) by appointing Ernesto Valverde as their new manager, Valverde spent last season with Greek powerhorse team Qlympiacos (won with them the domestic double) but difference in contract matters (they want to pay cut his salary) ends his Greek adventure dspite his popularity among players and fans.

Sunderland look closer to secure their man Steve Bruce as the agree compensation fee with his Club Wigan (£ 3 millions) to release him from his contract with Wigan. Now only personal details between Sunderland and Bruce should be agreed on to finalize the deal. Sunderland started 2008-09 season with Roy Keane later they sack him for poor results and put Ricky Sbragia as caretaker who lead them to avoid relegation.
Bruce lead Wigan since November 2007 and led Wigan to 11th place this season 2008-09.
Pellegrini and Real Madrid:
Many Spanish media sources sure that Real Madrid and Villarreal agreed on releasing Pellegrini from his remaining contract (one year) as Real Madrid will pay € 4 millions compensation for the Yellow Submarine team. Reports aslo said that Pellegrini will sign two years contract with Los Blancos, Jorge Valdano (should be Perez sporting Director) is a big fan of Pellegrini style and accomplishments.
Manuel Pellegrini is the longest serving coach in the Spanish La Liga since 2004 during his time with Villarreal he managed to make them one of the big teams in Spain and regular European appearance:
- 2008/2009 they finished 5th
- 2007/2008 they finished 2nd
- 2006/2007 they finished 5th
- 2005/2006 they finisihed 7th
- 2004/2005 they finished 3rd
Also He guide them to the Champions League semi-finals to eliminated by Arsenal (1-0) on aggregate, Pellegrini create a Latin playing identity for Villarreal make them one of the entertaining teams in Europe but with solid defense.

Miguel Muñoz, Real Madrid legendary coach

The Best coach in Real Madrid history
The Legend Miguel Muñoz wrote history with the Best Club in the World Real Madrid, one of his unique statuses that he is the longest serving coach for the Los Blancos until now (14 years). A splendid achievement considering that since 2000-01 season tell now Real Madrid had 9 coaches (Del Bosque – Queiroz – Camacho – Garcia Remón – Luxemburgo – Lopez Caro – Schuster – Ramos). Also he is the most coach managed Real Madrid in number of games in the La Liga with 424 games, Del Bosque currently Spain’s coach second with 152 games.
Muñoz coaching era was combined with Real Madrid dominance to the La Liga, he guided them to 9 La Liga trophies (includes 5 in row, then 3 in row too). beside two European Cups (1960, 1966)
Muñoz also have the club record for best games won in row 15 games (1960-61), also he coached the Spanish national team in Euro 84 (Spain reach the Final) and World Cup 1986 (Spain reach quarter final round). Also he is the best coach for Real Madrid in terms of number of trophies.
The well known Spanish newspaper MARCA established (Trofeo Miguel Muñoz) award for La Liga and Segunda Division leagues. As a recongnition for the Legendary Muñoz.
